Streets of Macau to bring Boardman’s WTCC debut season to a close
Tom Boardman’s debut WTCC season will draws to an end this weekend on the streets of Macau. The famous 6.1km Guia circuit plays host to the final round of the WTCC for the 5th consecutive year.
Despite it being another new track for the Lancashire driver, Tom is keen to return to the podium after missing out in Japan for the first time since July. “I’ve always loved the street races, and have wanted to race at Macau for many years, so I’m really looking forward to finally the chance.”
With double points available in Macau for the Independent drivers it is possible for there to be some significant changes in the Championship positions, although the ClubSEAT.co.uk driver should end the year as the highest placed driver in their debut season of the WTCC.
Despite the time difference to Macau, it will still be possible to watch the races live on Eurosport this weekend.
